BRIBIE ISLAND SUB SECTION - 26TH ANNIVERSARY DINNER - SATURDAY 25 AUGUST 2007

Rod Lambie (ex-CPOWTR) and Vice President of the Bribie Island Sub Section MC'd this wonderful annual event oversighted by the Sub Section Secretary - Neil Churches (ex-CPOWTR) who were both supervised by the Sub Section President Alex Clode who carried the evening in his magnificent style.

Sub Section Chaplain The Revd Col Baxter looked after the formal side preparing everybody for their meal.

Awards were made to several people including a Wooden Spoon award and 'the fickle finger of fate' award.

Much frivolity and dancing was enjoyed with the VIP guest for the evening being The Hon. Mal Brough, MP who also happens to be the local Federal Member of parliament.

Congratulations to the committee who again excelled in their organisation of an enjoyable evening.

It was good to see Qld State President Phil Gilbert together with his much better half Joan and visitors and guests from many other Sub Sections including a full bus load from Pine Rivers Sub Section.
