CANTERBURY BANKSTOWN SUB SECTION - TRAFALGAR DAY LUNCHEON AND PRESENTATION OF AWARDS - 20 & 21 OCTOBER 2006

At a Trafalgar Day luncheon held at the Revesby Workers' Club, National President, Les Dwyer awarded Life Membership to retiring Chairman of White Ensign Magazine, Commodore Red Merson OAM Rtd and while in attendance surprised the Members of Canterbury Bankstown Sub Section by awarding the Sub Section a National President Commendation recognising the considerable support given by the Sub Section over many years, financially and physically in supporting the White Ensign Magazine.

At the Sub Meeting on the previous day Cec Williams OAM was awarded a National President's commendation for his many years representation as the NAA representative to AVADSC (Australian Veterans and Defence Services Council) and also for his assistance on the production team of the WEM.
