PINE RIVERS SUB SECTION - CHRISTMAS PARTY AND BEGGARS CHRISTMAS GIFT- GIVING - SUNDAY 5 DECEMBER 2009

Heaps of members turned up for the Pine Rivers Sub Section Christmas Party at Norths Leagues Club on Sunday 5 December.

Ian Quaide, Di Abrahams and Ken Mulcair all received Certificates of Appreciation from Sub Section Patron Clr David Dwyer for the good works that they had done throughout the year in a variety of ways.

Jim O'Connor ran the Beggars Christmas gift-giving. Many laughs all round as members vied for fluffy dogs and stuffed animals for their children and grandchildren. A wide range of gifts were available from

clocks to perfume, chocolates, tins of lollies, travel blankets, folding chairs, bottles of wine, pizza boards with cutters, etc etc... fun was in the air and everybody who attended had a ball. Thanks must go to

Jim O'Connor for the way he revved every body up to participate and joust with each other for prizes.

The meal was enjoyable and the liquid refreshments were flowing.

Many can't wait until next year to do it all again.
