WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO SEND PHOTOGRAPHS FOR PUBLICATION IN AUSTRALIAN WARSHIP / WHITE ENSIGN MAGAZINE IN THEIR ORIGINAL SIZE AND WHY THEY

SHOULD BE AT LEAST 300DPI.

Please see the article under which explains why we need to have photographs in the largest possible

size.

Another important thing to remember is that photographs embedded in Word documents cannot be

removed without losing a lot of the detail in the photograph.  Detail is removed by the program when     placed in the WORD document.  PLEASE DO NOT PUT PICTURES OR PHOTOGRAPHS IN WORD

documents if you want them published in Australian Warship / White Ensign Magazine.

If you send an article by snail mail, photographs will be returned after they have been scanned.  Having

said that it is preferred that all items for publication be emailed, then they do not have to be OCR'd and scanned prior to being inserted in WEM.

Items for publication in Australian Warship / White Ensign Magazine should be sent to WhiteEnsign@NavalAssoc.org.au

This email address has a capacity of 100Mg.

Hope that all helps.
