SUBMARINERS CHRISTMAS PICNIC AND CRUISE - SATURDAY 4 DECEMBER 2009

Duck Run (Don Currell) and his team from the Submariners Association Australia (Qld) held their Christmas Cruise onboard retired Submarine Commander Ken and Rosie McBryde's ferry enjoying a days'

cruising and outing on the Pumicestone Passage.   Sailing around for a couple of hours whilst sipping on champagne and savouring the tasty and varied cheeses, hors d'oeuvres and appetizers was a

wonderful way to enjoy each others company.

The weather was magnificent, the people friendly and the day was helped incredibly by the CO TS ONSLOW  - 'PeeWee' a retired submarine Greenie who set up the awning outside the boatshed so that all

could take in the beautiful water views of the Pumicestone Passage at Golden Beach from this million dollar vantage point while enjoying their picnic lunches and MORE champagne.

Thank goodness we all had dedicated drivers with us!

Thanks to Rob and Jan for inviting us and Duck Run and Ian Roberts and the rest of the crew for the good company.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Submariners!  (click to enlarge)
