A marvellous State Conference was held at Ulverstone, TAS over the weekend 19 - 21 October. Proudly supported by the Mayor and Councillors of Central Coast who hosted a Civic Reception at the Ulverstone Community Centre on the Friday evening when lots of fine food and revelry was enjoyed by all in attendance. State President Derek Tite took the opportunity to present a NAA plaque to Cr Mike Downie, the Mayor to thank him and his fellow councillors and staff for the planning that went into the Civic Reception for delegates and guests.
National President Les Dwyer and Lynda travelled down from Queensland for the weekend activities and enjoyed themselves immensely. There is nothing like fresh Tasmanian seafood and the beautiful vistas to enhance a wonderful visit. The State Section provided accommodation at Westella House, a beautiful B & B on 2 acres at Ulverstone. The proprietors, Shirley and Colin are Queenslanders and currently have the property for sale...if you are interested in a sea-change opportunity...see it by clicking here or see:- http://www.domain.com.au/Public/PropertyDetails.aspx?adid=2006287773
