CHARTER PRESENTATION AND INAUGURAL MEETING eFLEET SUB SECTION - NINDERRY QLD 24 OCTOBER 2009

Queensland Section President, Pat Ringold presented the eFleet Sub Section with its Charter at its inaugural meeting on the Sunshine Coast, Qld on Saturday 24 October, 2009.

16 Founding members were present to receive their Foundation Membership certificates, with the remaining Foundation Member certificates being posted to those members serving overseas in the RAN and in other places around Australia.

The eFleet Sub Section does not intend to have physical meetings except to conform to the NAA Constitution. Its business will be conducted via electronic media principally the internet, by email, and through a dedicated website reserved for members of the eFleet Sub Section.

At the inaugural meeting it was decided that all motions or suggestions will be sponsored by a member who is able to attend the 'required' physical meeting. Any such motions need to be forwarded to the eFleet Sub Section Secretary, Mrs Patricia McKay by email to patmckay@dodo.com.au

A delightful BBQ with appropriate wines, cheeses and other savoury delights was enjoyed by all members present with some staying late into the evening to enjoy themselves.
