NEW TEAM IN TASMANIA

At the recent Tasmanian Section AGM, a new 'front bench' was elected. James McDermott was elected as Section President taking over from stalwart Derek Tite. Mary Marsh became the Section Secretary and Robyn Hook (photo under) was elected to the position of Treasurer. The new team is looking forward to moving things along in Tasmania and the whole of the Tasmanian Section and the National Council wishes them every good wish with their task.

Finney Funeral Services, of Launceston, has become the inaugural corporate sponsor of the Tasmanian section of the Naval Association of Australia.

When Andrew Finney, CEO of Finney Funeral Services became aware that financial assistance was being sought to help the Naval Association maintain its high level of services to members,

he offered support without hesitation. We thank Andrew and his staff for their generosity and support.

This is not the first time that Finney’s have shown support for those men and women who have dedicated themselves to the protection of our country.

In the past they have kindly provided financial support for the running of a State Conference.
