MEETS 2ND TUESDAY AT COMBINED SERVICES CLUB AT 1100

MESSDECK CHATTER. FROM GARDEN ISLAND S.S.

Garden Island Sub Section meets on the 2^nd Tuesday of the month at 11:00 at the Combined Services Club, Barrack Street in the C.B.D on the third floor, Sub Section meeting room. We are pleased that our membership has increased over the last two years to over 30 members with attendance at our monthly meetings of 16 to 18 members, we were concerned prior to this that the sub section might fold as we were flat out getting a quorum.

We have a good mix of members from World War 11 right up to a young member from the Gulf War. The president is Reg Evans, Secretary Windy Gale, Treasurer Reg Torrington (A former State President), our delegates to the State Council are John Gibbins & Vince Dorahy, our Administration Officer is Gloria Tyler.

The meeting secures at 1200 and we adjourn downstairs to the Duntroon Bistro for our 2-hour lunch, and spinning of dits. We invite any sub section members to join us for lunch. If you are in the city shopping, or just a little lonely and looking for some company come along to the friendly C.B.D Sub Section and enjoy yourself.
