On Sunday 11 August 2007 the National President visited Geelong Sub Section Club rooms at

92 Skene Street, Newtown, Geelong.   Thank you to the members who made us most welcome.

Located on the opposite side of the road from the Gold Diggers Hotel, the Sub Section provides musical entertainment and a convivial atmosphere on some Sundays.   Fortunately 'AJ' and his merry band were in full swing when we visited.   A happy band of members served by Club Bar Manager Aldo were right in the mood and enjoying themselves immensely.  Sundays can get quite busy with lots of people drifting in to enjoy the camaraderie and friendly atmosphere.

A new BBQ area and Smokers outdoor area have recently been constructed and the beer was chillingly fresh.

Geelong is a great place to visit and is the gateway to the Great Ocean Road....pop in and visit this friendly Sub Section on your way through Geelong....!
