Headquarters and club house of Pine Rivers Sub Section is at 'The Anchorage', Tarakan House, Ogg Road, Murrumba Downs. Should you wish to contact us at 'The Anchorage' you can telephone us on (07) 38862606 - the phone is only manned when 'The Anchorage' is open.
This modern building is a credit to the efforts of many dedicated shipmates of the Sub Section and the support of the local community - particularly Patron of the Sub Section, Councillor David Dwyer of Moreton Bay Shire Council and the former Mayor of Pine Rivers Shire Yvonne Chapman who was the previous Patron of the Sub Section.
The Sub Section is vibrant, participating at State Conference and attending all State Council-sponsored activities including barbeques and outings. A lively interchange of ideas occurs between shipmates and lots of social interaction is evident.
The Sub Section provides many facilities and services to members including Welfare and Pensions assistance. The Sub Section has several dedicated TIP-trained Welfare officers and a dedicated Advocate / Pensions Officer.
